My stay was fairly well but there was some elevator maintenance going on at the time. This caused kind of a long wait just to get up to my room. Also the parking garage stair lights were completely out which was very scary. I don’t recall seeing any security around the property so anytime I arrived late to the hotel, it caused a slight panic if I had to park and walk down the stairs just to get to the hotel entrance.

I liked the area of the hotel, close to the mall, close to restaurants and convenience stores like Walgreens. Public transportation is readily available. I didn’t like how my check-in wasn’t ready til after 5pm. The front desk was terribly slow and there was always a long wait, the deposit is per night for “luxury accommodations” that I’m still wondering what they were. And the worst part was the mold found all over my room that was clearly known about due to lamp shades being turned around and the AC being cranked down to 60 degrees to try to cover up the smell that in hours had all my clothes smelling horrible. There also must have been other issues such as ventilation or water damage because every just felt damp to the touch.

I loved my suite, loved my view from my balcony. My only issue was that there was a Hurricane while I was staying in Houston & the power went out the day of check out. Everything else was great for my experience.

Doubletree hotel was nice. We did experience a lot of problems with the elevator and also some problems with Wi-Fi. No Wi-Fi was available while we was there. Also the food was good in the restaurant of the hotel.

Firat- We checked in and they gave us an occupied room. We unlocked the door and the occupants were t there but their things were there unpacked like their vacation just started. The. They gave us a room on the 22rd floor that was hard to get into. Maintenance had to come open it. had dried it shut. We had to darn near throw our shoulders out to get in. They have 20 fl and 1 WORKING elevator I can’t fault them for the hurricane BUT I can fault them for how they handled it after. We had cheap glow sticks to try to maneuver our way down 23 hot flights of steps. Every other hotel regained power an employee told us that this hotel was older and did have great back up generators. All hotels with power booked so we also had to extend our stay there (2 extra days)which was for the REGULAR price!!!! So I went on Expedia. Power finally came on and they over charged my wife for parking 😡 -Staff was nice and kind - Valet staff was super friendly - Room was clean
