“The bar and restaurant area was beautiful and the only problem was that it was not open when I was there. Breakfast was good. The pools were clean. It is very nice gated community. And a safe environment. I would definitely stay there again.”

“We loved this hideaway! Tucked in off a side road, it’s peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view of the sunset just a quick walk from the property. Playas Samara and Carrillo are a quick drive in either direction. We were glad to be cloistered among the giant trees at this property instead of close to the chaos of a beach town. The staff were so attentive and kind addressing all our needs. Onsite is a restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced for lunch or dinner. I would stay……

“8 minutes to walk to the amazing Playa de Carrillo. This accommodation is not only perfect in its location but for everyone who would like to exit busy touristy places. The staff was super-nice and the pools just in front of our apartment door have been excellent. Our 5yrs old daughter just loved to start and end her days with it. Apartment was basic equipped but more than enough to make our stay very comfortable. The selection on the breakfast was typical for the region, well sized and……

“Comfortable place. Two beds in the room, that was unexpected. Nice. Staff need to be more attentive when . Serving and at the bar. But free breakfast was very good. Great beach, one of the best I have been in Costa Rica. Affordable. I don’t know if they have any beach chairs, I didn’t asked. There are none available at the beach except for the next door resort which they don’t rent. There are different activities offered by other businesses.”

We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. “Tout était impeccable ; la chambre, la piscine,… Impossible de se sentir plus dans la jungle qu’à cet endroit! C’était magique de prendre son café dans le hamac ou se laver dans la douche extérieure. Le déjeuner était succulent et différent des « classiques » du coin. La plage de Samara était à 5 minutes de voiture: toujours facile de se stationner. Honnêtement, la tranquillité valait la distance. Excellent service, très accommodants. J’ai tout adoré!!! Merci”

“The room was in the basement with no hot water, small, and dark. The pool was the size of a large bathtub, and all small clean little prison compound. It would of suffice for a night or two, for about a 1/4 of the price i paid. But at $160 a night, it sucked. Worst hotel.com place ive ever stayed in Costa Rica.”
