DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY FOLKS!! The first thing they’ll tell you on arrival is that there’s no WiFi in any of the rooms, only in the common areas. Then we get to the food, or lack of it. The best that can be said about the food is that it isn’t very appetizing, it’s cheap & nasty. As for choice, there’s no buffet or menu, you’re given two options & it’s take it or leave it. Rarely are there any desserts or basics for kids such as burgers or chicken nuggets. We never saw any ice cream either. Drinks are also limited, on day 3 of our stay they ran out of any sort of wine. On the day before we left there was no ketchup either. One of the waitresses gave me details of a local pizza delivery because the food there is so dreadful. It’s an all inclusive resort where half the facilities are closed because there’s so few people around. The whole place is very run down, it’s also built on a very steep hillside & whilst there is transport chugging up & down, the novelty soon wears off. Don’t waste your money, there’s far far better options elsewhere.

Best hotel stay ever..

This property was absolutely stunning. Beautifully decorated throughout. The breakfast that’s included with your stay was great with amazing ocean views from the restaurant. The staff was incredible, helping with anything and everything. The villa itself was amazing. Beautiful sunset views and the swim out pool was to die for.

The staff was very friendly and accommodated our needs. The property was very pretty and well maintained. The good was really good, and the beach was nearby. I would definitely recommend The RIU Guanacaste to anyone visiting Costa Rica 🇨🇷.
