"Excellent Breakfast "

"The staff is very rude and was not helpful. They stated since we made the reservation on Expedia, we received a discount. Additionally the AC in the room started to leak and requested another room. The staff gave us a difficult time. Our original room did not even have a clothing iron. Additionally the internet gave issues and when ask the staff was not helpful and rude. I would not recommend this is hotel at all. This hotel was was downside of my vacation. "

"This hotel was not as Jamaican friendly/ catered much for authentic Jamaicans based on my experience. As an authentic Jamaican back home to vacation , the food was trash! Unfortunately that is what I was looking forward to the most. The beef served one of those nights was so tough, oh my gosh! Customer service for the most part was good. A young lady by the vegetarian bar was rude one day, not in what she said, but with her tone, and mannerism. It is good that the hotel has many activities planned daily, some of which I did enjoy. However, night life is mostly catered for the older population. This destination is for older white caucasians. There are a few restaurants on this property which my partner and I did sign up for: the only one we tried was the one in the sea( not remembering the name), nothing great about the food, and I felt this dining was rushed, so we just wasn’t interested in trying the others. I had hair services done here, ridiculously expensive, not worth it, well wasn’t for me! Maybe if your Caucasian it will be though, I observed they use their more skilled people to facilitate those requests. Five stars to housekeeping, checking in /out service, dance class team, ladies whom did the massage, front desk ladies at the spa…. that nice lady whom took the extra time to see if my partner and I wanted the massage done together as it was booked separately. "

"Great property with spacious living area, updated kitchen, two bedroom and two bathrooms. The pools are just a few steps off of balcony of this ground floor ocean front unit. Host was very accomodating and communicative throughout our stay."

"This was a beautiful location. The staff were phenomenal and the food at the restaurant was exceptional. Restaurant manager Nick and his staff went above and beyond! It was a wonderful time of rest and relaxation. "

"The highlight of this unit are the staff. The chef (Kumare) and housekeeper (Debbie) were excellent. Both were very friendly and helpful with our 2 families (14 adults in total). They truly were exceptional. The house is very well laid out with lots of room inside and outside. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. We definitely appreciated the way that there was space for all of us to gather on the main floor and other spaces where small groups could gather as well. The unit does need a little TLC in places; however, we understand that as the country is rebuilding following a terrible hurricane a few months ago, finding tradespersons is very difficult. Host was very responsible and helpful with information and suggestions. Overall a wonderful stay."

"Our stay was great. I loved the staff. If it wasn’t for the staff I wouldn’t return. We made some long lasting friendships. They are the sweetest & will go above & beyond to help.Pros: the staff - fabulous. The pool & patio amazing. We spent most of our time there. If you are coming to Jamaica to relax this is the place for you. You will be treated like royalty. We ate fresh fish & lobster right from a fisherman from beach next door. It was delicious. My son loved the jerk chicken. It was so nice to be taken care of from the staff. Cons: it was about a 30 minute drive to go anywhere. The mileage looks close to town but the traffic is crazy. If you plan on being active & go to lots of places (shopping, beaches, Dunn, Falls, mystic etc) it takes time & money to pay a driver. They recommend Bunny for a driver & he is great. The host was kind but had many requests. We were told how much to tip the staff. I always thought tipping depends on service. Staff kept turning off the air and then after much conversation I think the host watches numbers daily about the air. If you like to use air this is not the place for you. The ocean breeze is amazing but my husband likes air during the hot days. We felt guilty using air. The hot water is sparse. This was ok for me because I take quick showers. Needs updating especially microwaveIf you are a vegetarian no fish not many options. Canned Ackee, greens & veggies is it. Overall excellent for relaxing and staff 10 plus stars"
