“Friendly staff! The lobby and sitting area is beautiful. No restaurants in town except 2 Taco trucks so, have to travel to Lone Pine for restaurants. On the main highway so a little noisy. Hopefully they will finish the back yard for sitting outside and away from noise of the main highway. Try for an inside room and upstairs. Great history and old world charm. Shower works great and great bath products. Rooms simple and average size. Nice Continental breakfast.”

“Pros: 1. Good location. 2. Cool visual design. 3. My room was clean. Cons: 1. The shower is tiny, and the sink has separate hot and cold faucets designed so awkwardly that your hands constantly touch the basin. 2. The centralized HVAC and radiator system means no individual room temperature adjustments. 3. Thin walls and an older structure mean clear sound transmission from overhead footsteps and neighboring conversations.”

“Nice little ("Tiny") place if all you need is a bed, bathroom and kitchenette. My only 2 concerns were difficulty communicating with host due to no cell service, and that the laundry was not in the unit. It was a short drive (or long walk) from the unit. But host was as accommodating and friendly. I recommend when visiting Death Valley and area.”

“We absolutely love this house! This is the fourth time I have stayed here (2022 (as a guest), 2024, 2025, and 2026) and we really look forward to it each year. The area is beautiful with sweeping views of the Sierra Nevada, Inyo Mountains, and Alabama Hills rock formations with lots of fun wildlife (bunnies, quail, lizards). We gladly trade being a little further from town (10 minutes) to be out in Alabama Hills. We also love the drive to the house either down Lubken Canyon (think Sound of Music……

8/10 好
"Although the building is a bit dated, the overall atmosphere is warm and cozy. The room was on the smaller side, but it was spotless. The staff were very friendly, and overall there was really nothing to complain about. The only thing that could be improved was the AC system."
