"When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon."

"Great location close to gas station, jerky store and fishing spots. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lot of nearby options for things to do. Enjoyed a 2 night fishing trip. Very nice cabin. Love the back porch/fire pit setup. We ended up grilling dinner every night. We were even able to watch the Michigan game at the cabin. The crystal clear night sky made for an amazing view of the stars that you can't see in the city. Awesome place, we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you!"

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!"

"Alex & Inna’s spectacular accommodations provided me respite in the storm… close to home; a house fire left me homeless and their Vrbo in the Manistee Forest in Branch, is literally down the road from my cabin in the woods. I actually had the opportunity to meet Alex & Inna, what kindhearted and caring neighbors. The home itself was maintained beautifully and immaculately. Their attention to details unprecedented. They supplied everything I needed, and then some. Then there is the property....

"My husband and father in law enjoyed their stay at this property for a fishing weekend. Super clean, nicely appointed. There is no WiFi and the cell signal is weak, however this worked perfectly for them to have a nice disconnected weekend. They 100% would chose this place again. "The Shed is a little gem in northern Michigan with close and easy access to Crystal Mountain, Arcadia Bluffs, and Sleeping Bear Dunes, among others. Off the beaten path but a quick drive to Bear Lake for groceries and other essentials. Perfectly cozy for my wife and me, but also would be good for a family with 1-2 kids or even two couples. Nicely decorated, very clean, a well-stocked kitchen and gas grill for cooking, and the owners are very responsive and super nice. Kate stopped by to great us...

"The property is very nice, smells wonderful when you walk in and found everything to be clean. We had a wonderful time sitting by the fire each night and the river was peaceful and relaxing. I do want to let future renters know that there is no cell service for Verizon at this location, but you can drive a few miles down the road and get cell service."
