The front desk (I forgot his name) went out of his way to receive a package and get another one picked up. The location is also great- you can walk or easily find a tuktuk outside, and there are plenty of shops and sightseeing around. At the same time, it was so peaceful and somehow the outside noise didn't carry in. Wish I could've stayed longer!”

“We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is in the hustle and bustle of the old town. The staff and manager couldn’t be more helpful. The Aircon was good in the bedroom. The roof top restaurant was nice and food was excellent. The building had charm and character. It had been beautifully restored and the furniture was in keeping with its heritage. “A very enjoyable stay at the Smiling Sparrows Villa. The charming villa is nestled in the middle of the old city and can only be accessed either by rickshaw or on foot. The rickshaw drive to-from the villa was one of my favourite parts of the trip! It is perfect for small groups. There are two double rooms and extra beds if needed.
