“Beautiful hotel with intricate interior throughout which is a wonderful setting to base a stay in Bruges. The hotel is run by John and Michael who are the most incredible hosts, with nothing too much trouble and an incredibly warm welcome. We arrived late on a Friday evening but we're greeted and shown to our room with lots of information about the city. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and high quality fresh ingredients from yoghurt, fruits, granola, breads and pastries, eggs……

“Sehr sauberes Hotel mit einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service in der Bar – die Kellner waren äußerst bemüht und aufmerksam. Die Drinks waren hervorragend und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Auch das Frühstück hat überzeugt: lecker, vielfältig und individuelle Wünsche wurden problemlos erfüllt. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt.”

“We stayed in a triple room and had a lovely view of the outdoor patio and canal. There was sufficient room for all of us. Best part was our morning breakfast. The offering and variety was great. The fresh pastries were delicious, especially the croissants! Proximity to shops, restaurants, and transit was all within 5-10min. I would definitely come back to stay here next time I’m in town”

“Quality of the hotel is very good. Rustic rooms in a quiet and central location. We stayed in camelia room and shower doesn't have much ventilation therefore we can see damp and doesn't smell pleasant. We have been charged with 50 euros in the check in for my 5 year old son eventhough he slept in same bed with us and expedia guest policy clearly indicates child is allowed to stay in the room with you. ”

“Stunning property in a wonderful location. However, style over substance with the rooms and service. There is limited room to put anything, as surfaces are covered in ornaments. There was no full length mirror. Grounds were beautiful, but they appeared understaffed, and struggled to meet requests such as extra pillows (as we only got one each), and unable to man the bar when checking in guests etc. Had an unfortunate incident where we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest.……
