The place is beautiful and well maintained, but not worth the prices they charge. The smallest cabin with no amenities at all will cost almost $500 a night with taxes and fees. The restaurant prices are ridiculous. It's a beautiful place but not worth what they charge.

Delightful in every way - I particularly loved the aesthetics of the gorgeous cabins among the trees and the free bicycle hire plus DVD’s and games. The proximity to the Canyon walk and the friendly restaurant staff - especially Lachie. I did get food poisoning from the chicken in my salad however, which definitely was not a pleasant experience.

Quaint cabins right next to Johnston Canyon trail. Only issue was a lot of mosquitos in cabin the first night. There’s no air conditioning. It was extraordinarily hot during our stay. The fan provided helped, but it was still hot. Beautiful location and friendly helpful staff.

Great location to visit the Falls at Johnston Canyon. Unfortunately we stayed during a rare heatwave, so the cabin was SWELTERING. Ask for a cabin facing the river. Ours was on the road and less desirable. The only restaurant in the area is at the cabins. Fortunately it has great food!

What a unique place to stay. Rustic, clean cabins with a little bit of luxury. Excellently located for visiting Johnstone Canyon once the crowds have left for the day (or early in the morning if that’s your thing). Staff were all friendly and helpful. Amazing cafe, gift, ice cream shop on site PLUS a restaurant. The beds were comfortable and you could fall asleep to the sound of the stream. Cabins were cool even in the heat of the day. WiFi could be patchy but we were here for digital detox so that wasn’t a problem. Great location for visiting Banff, Lake Louise and Icefields Parkway amongst other areas.

The cabins are great. They are located on the river and you have access to the canyon trail from the property. The property has everything you need and we loved sitting on the patio looking at the river. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Far too expensive for the family cabin that doesn’t have fans, microwaves, toasters or any utensils. It’s very basic and not worth the $725. It’s at a very nice place with fantastic views but far too expensive for what the cabin has.

We loved sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine. The wood for the fireplace was a nice touch and a real wood burning fire was so relaxing after a busy day exploring. The cabin is so charming.
