Spent a weekend here on our honeymoon and we loved it! The cabins are nice and cozy, and we loved that it came equipped with a kitchenette (including a mini fridge). Since it's located 20 mins. drive from Lake Louise, having the kitchenette was so convenient - we bought snacks and beverages while we were in town and brought them with us. We also had a fireplace right in our living room. The resort provides plenty of firewood and kindling for free. There are also several outdoor firepits available for use, and we made so many new friends around the fire on our second night. If you want to cook, they also have multiple BBQs around the property in addition to a hot plate in the cabins. There is no cell service there, so be ready for a digital detox. Our cabin came with some board games if you don't bring your own! They just got Starlink wifi though so if you are really desperate, you can get some internet access. But it is located in the mountains along Bow Valley Parkway. Even in the winter, the grounds are beautiful to walk around. They even have a small outdoor rink to skate/shoot pucks on, and cross-country skis, snowshoes and other equipment you can use to explore your surroundings. This seems like a great place for families to stay - and also still close enough to either Lake Louise or Sunshine if you want to ski. Front desk staff, Chris, was an awesome host as well. Would definitely stay here again!
