The location couldn’t be better—about halfway between downtown Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach, with the beach literally just steps away, and it’s a gorgeous stretch of sand. You can’t see the ocean from the property but you can hear it and the secludedness of it made it special. The area is safe and walk to the beach was easy. All of the necessities were as listed. I highly recommended staying at the Emerald Cottage. The hostess was informative with details and responsive. We would love to return again. "
