“Affordable”

“We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown……

“The large home and expansive grounds were lovely and well-maintained. We enjoyed our delicious omelette that our host Olga cooked to order for our breakfast. Special touches like coffee anytime, cookies in the evening, and use of the many sitting areas made the place feel homey and comfortable. And I can’t say enough about the views of the farmland from the porches! We will be staying there on our return trip!”

“We stayed at The Cabin at Alta Vista for a few nights this April and it was exactly as advertised. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the sunroom—the views are spectacular, and we were lucky enough to see a family of about 10 deer right outside on our first day!The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities; the coffee and tea selection was actually much better than what you’d find at a high-end hotel. One tip for future guests: the drive up……
