"This is the best hotel that we have stayed at. The amenities, staff, rooms, the spa, the adult pool, the food, the beach…all 5 stars! Swam with manta rays and did the longest running luau that was well done. Have been coming here since the 80’s and it only keeps getting better. We love the Mauna Kea and the Big Island of Hawaii."

The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and they even provided yogurt and fresh fruit for us in the morning, which was such a nice touch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. "We had a fantastic time here. We were a little concerned coming here in mid July without any AC but it turned out to be fine with the windows open and using the provided fans. Honestly, it made us feel more connected with the environment not being bottled up with canned air so it really suited the experience. The kitchen was perfect and the living space also very comfortable with private bedrooms to retire to. Absolutely stunning view and location. We would definitely return."

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay - it was spacious, bright, clean, and had all the amenities and conveniences. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels. The pool was also conveniently located outside the back door. The host was very responsive and helpful, often responding within a minute. We also enjoyed the convenience of having Foodland down the road and often walked there for provisions. Hope to return someday!"
