I honestly was enjoying my three-night stay at this particular property until it came time to check out. The king room was spacious enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. I had no issues with the heating/cooling unit, and the second floor was peaceful enough for me. The standard-hotel breakfast was tasty, satisfying and filling enough for me (scrambled eggs, sausage links, toast, yogurt, orange juice, etc.). The two front-desk staff members who assisted me prior to checkout were courteous, friendly, professional and respectful enough. Also, it is worth noting here that the property appeared to have been recently remodeled. Again, I had no issues until checking out with Nicole. I must add that I was 30 minutes late checking out, which I apologized for to both the housekeeping employee (who may have been the department supervisor) hovering outside the room door as I scrambled to throw all of my belongings together and Nicole, the front-desk employee on duty at checkout. Nicole was rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, unfriendly, discourteous and angry. Nicole apparently did not like the fact that I was unaware of the daily in-hotel specials listed on the information tent card provided upon checking in. She essentially berated me and told me that she had me "on camera" for talking with her, which made no sense to me. My checkout experience was bizarre, to state the least.
