To begin I am unhappy with Expedia! The only way I could book a room was to use my credit card even though it said you could book now pay later. I wound up with an accessible room that I did not ask for and could not change. When I got to the hotel the front desk person told me there was NOTHING she could do because I booked through Expedia. I not only wound up with an accessible room but right next to the interstate. Someone (I assume housekeeping) came in with fresh towels (didn't ask them to) but never cleaned the room (bed not made, garbage in bathroom emptied but not in bedroom, sink etc not cleaned) Not only would I not stay here again I sincerely doubt I will book through Expedia again!

Our check-in process started out great until what seemed to be the longest check in ever. We spent at least 15 minutes filling out paperwork, signing, paying, etc. By this point the staff member had lost her cheerfulness and was quite rude when I was asking questions. Then came the problems with the rooms. Painting over mold and peeling paint doesn't fix the issue. The bathroom was terrible and the drains didn't drain so we couldn't even shower. The only thing this hotel had going for it was that it allowed our dogs and the bed wasn't terrible.

The check in went fine, and we walked into our room everything seemed ok. We were on the 2nd floor with two queen beds, one for my husband and I and the other for our 2 young children, and our youngest who’s 1 was in his pack n play. That night when we went to bed I had a constant itching on my feet and lower legs, but was so exhausted from our trip I tried to sleep thru it. The next morning my husband was covered in bed bug bites!!!!! We were running behind for a wedding that was out of town so quickly packed up what we could and got OUT of there! We returned that evening and I told the front desk what was going on, and my husband showed them his arm, side, and back. They all agreed it was outrageous. The front desk staff were extremely understanding and because they couldn’t give me a refund then and there, we were stuck with having to stay in a different room. Thankfully, the security guy working let us use their industrial sized washers and dryers for all of our fabric belongings and duffel bags to kill any bed bugs. I was thankful for the help…BUT I will NEVER be staying there ever again. It was really upsetting to drive 6 hours one way for a wedding, just for my husband to be destroyed by BED BUGS!!! We couldn’t enjoy ourselves at the wedding whatsoever because the bites themselves had developed into what I can only describe as welts. I still haven’t received any sort of refund from this hotel….travelers- BEWARE!!!!!!

Was told to "shut my mouth and do only what I was told to do" after asking if they have received payment for our stay. The other three lines of guests checking in heard it all. If I hadn't been thoroughly embarrassed and tired from a long drive, I would have asked for the Manger and cleared up the matter. She also did not tell me or many others that the breakfast was not complimentary. There is more, but you probably don't want to hear it.

The kids loved the water park! The bed was comfortable. There was some hair in the bathroom wall and not ours. The sofa bed wasn’t so comfortable. There was throw up looking substance by the plug near tv that grossed me out. The restaurant downstairs was pretty good. The check in lady was very nice. If the cleanliness could step it up a little. Then it would’ve been a big difference maker!

The staff were very responsive and helpful at check-in (making sure our room had a pack in play etc) and when we called for issues with the a/c not working which was fixed promptly. HOWEVER, it's important to know that this is a huge resort with many rooms that are used very often. The rooms are very roomy, but you can tell that they go through a lot of people. Both tvs in our room did not work. The pools are very nice, kids had a blast. Our room was very near the convention center, either a neighboring room or a convention party were very loud from pool closing time 10pm until after midnight.
