“Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before.”

“Good property in a great location, excellent grounds and access to the beach which the dogs loved. Good quality kitchen , just missing a small welcome pack which we normally have when we go for a cottage stay, its always useful. Bedrooms were a bit basic and didn’t like not having a full shower, some small details need to be looked at, curtains in lounge with mis- matched or broken curtain rings. Overall we had a great stay in a lovely part of Scotland.”

“Lovely lodge unfortunately the oven was not working so needed to call out for help on our first evening but the man was very helpful and lined us a counter top cooker. No WiFi which I didn't realise when I booked which was a pain and the TV signal was glitchy. ”

“Both families really enjoyed the stay at the barn owl. It was a great place to relax and chill out as a group. The barn was clean and had everything we required for the stay, Kelly was very accommodating and provided some local knowledge and guidance for the stay. We would stay again thanks”
