“Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before.”

“Good property in a great location, excellent grounds and access to the beach which the dogs loved. Good quality kitchen , just missing a small welcome pack which we normally have when we go for a cottage stay, its always useful. Bedrooms were a bit basic and didn’t like not having a full shower, some small details need to be looked at, curtains in lounge with mis- matched or broken curtain rings. Overall we had a great stay in a lovely part of Scotland.”

“I took my Mum, 2 Aunts (all in their eighties) and Pep the dog to this lovely house for a week of relaxation and togetherness. It was perfect ! The accommodation (especially the sun room and living room) were great for sitting and looking over the trees and rooftops to the bay...spacious and cosy at the same time. Rockcliffe is beautiful. The house a great walk for me and the pooch to the beach ,through the woods and over the rocks. Lots of places to visit around and about...something for……
