“A wonderful cosy, quirky cottage, deep in the Kent countryside. Ideal location for walking dog owners, a couple looking for a romantic break or friends. Perfect for a short winter break. Lovely log burner. Relaxing and peaceful. A word of warning, very steep stairs. Felt like we were on a boat at times as the floors upstairs slope so much. This place has real character though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, seeing the New Year in. Highly recommend.”

“Great location and with a parking space albeit very tight to get the car down the lane and we don’t have a large car. House was as described but very basic and just felt like not a lot of thought had gone into the decor and making it homely. Just a couple beach pics on the walls. Outdoors furniture was dirty. TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Bed was small and a bit uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet was dirty. Shower leaked and difficult to get in and out of the bath with the large shower……

“I stayed in this gorgeous cottage/annex for one month.It is furnished to a very high standard and is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed for comfort, cleanliness and having every imaginable appliance in the kitchen.Everything is done with great care, the welcome hamper full of goodies, fresh flowers on the table., books, magazines, extra towels in the bathroom. Lovely bathroom with a super shower. Spring flowers emerging in the garden, beautiful location in the Elham Valley area with……
