Favorite on white sand beach

This is the fourth time i have stayed at this hotel and it never disappoints. Great location on whitesand beach. Spacious rooms, always clean, and great breakfast. Amazing views of the beach from the beachront rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at KC Grand, Koh Chang. Making our stay amazing… Jia in the pool bar, my beautiful cleaner (I didn’t get your name) my amazing Thai massage lady… honestly the whole stay was amazing.

We were at KC for the fourth time and they did a good job. They renovated the front desk and the (breakfast) restaurant was newly built with cozy seating. Breakfast has improved again so keep up the good work KC!

Amazing place to stay.

Very nice and relaxing place to stay. We were there 9 nights and it was wonderfull. Everything worked excellent. Only minus comes from the live music at the Beach bar. It was way too loud to have any conversation.

We stayed for three nights as a couple and that was enough for us. Not enough Sunbeds and even if you went down to breakfast by 8am towels were already on Sunbeds so we hired a scooter and went and found quieter places. This is more family orientated than couples. Room was clean and fine. Bit dated but happy with our room.

The hotel is on a great beach with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance nearby so there is lots of choice for dinners etc. Breakfast is great. 3 pools. Staff were very friendly.

This was the first trip to Koh Chang. The resort was exactly as described on the website. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was very tasteful. We were a family of five and took two adjoining villas opening at the beach. We stayed five nights and overall it was a fantastic experience. The only shortcoming was that the Internet service in the villas was a bit choppy but definitely was not a mood spoiler as there was so much to do around us. Definitely recommended for families

The Hotel has not changed in the Laest 10 years, what mean there is already some maintenance needed. Not enough staff to keep the Standard high and to justify the room Rates.

A Good stay fantastic beach but not 5 star!

We enjoyed our stay as it’s a beautiful beach and has lovely gardens. Some parts of the hotel are showing their age and it needs some maintenance. The lightning could be improved as well. Checkin could be a more friendly experience no welcome drink etc and told to go and wait even though we were only 15 mins early. The staff cannot control the management of Sun beds with towels on them at 7 am yet the people are in having breakfast used towels left on sun beds all day yet people have finished with them.We came from the Retreat at Kai Bae this is a true 5 star resort. KC’s staff were not friendly and hard to find. There was no one to order from around the pool you had to go up to the restaurant to order. This is no longer a 5 star place it’s old and lacks good service. However the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great and there was a decent breakfast.

I think I paid too much money for this place. I think it’s mildly overrated, The prices at the time of my booking were definitely high for Thailand at about $100/night. The deluxe rooms are clean but the decor is outdated so I upgraded to a garden bungalow. They are not sound insulate but beautifully decorated and much more modern. The facilities close entirely too early to be called a 4 star hotel. The area is very walkable. I would stay again if I booked in advance and got a better deal.

Far better resorts elsewhere - stay at another

Not a 4 star by any means, not enough beds or sun umbrellas- you need to get up before 7.30 to get a bed you want or after 8.30am nothing left, there are very little waiters to get drinks, the smaller pool around the villas has very few beds and only 2 umbrellas and the bar was not abandoned yet the resort is full. Also not enough staff clearing breakfast. The gym is old with little equipment and some broken - very poor. The beach is not maintained by the resort and no set up for sun beds which most 4 star resorts would do. Positives - Reception was helpful and garden bungalow was nice but bath is useless feature as would have taken 2 hours to fill with a shower head. Good selection of items at breakfast. Whitesands beach area is run down with terrible restaurants except Pens Bungalows

Mid at best KC

Stayed in large deluxe room with outdoor balcony tub. Arrived one hour past check in (3pm) and still had to wait one hour to check in despite hotel not appearing busy. Room not ready still (baby crib in room when we got there (I dont have a baby). Air conditioner leaked water throughout trip in large pools on the floor and on our hanging clothes. Staff forgot many things daily like water and towels. Received 2 notices on a 5 night trip that limited access to the grounds. They fumigated one day and held a wedding that limited pool, beach and ocean access. Balcony tub not worth it, it was cracked, weathered and dirty. Also, 2nd floor balcony did not provide privacy and fitness room users could look onto your balcony. 2nd floor fitness room blocks most of your sea view from your room. Breakfast was the highlight of the resort. The resort itself could use a refresh. If you do book here, wait for an online deal and stay in the smaller room. Paying for a tub and seeing treadmillers instead of the ocean isnt worth it. You'll save money and maybe your AC wont leak.

Lovely hotel . Nice staff. Breakfast dissapointing

Lovely hotel. Had a Paradise Beach villa. On the beach front. Lovely room. Beautiful view. Aircon is excellent. Shower good. Bath is fun. Housekeeping is a bit strange. Fold your towels and put them on your bed. Caught out a few times for something to dry myself with because of this. Also the bed is made up with about 8 throw pillows that initially. Looks nice but housekeeping don’t redo them when they do your room, they just let them siton the floor next to the bed . Best to remove these if it’s just for the initial ‘show’. The breakfast is poor. I was really disappointed. The deck outside is kinda useless, should be replaced by the chairs the villas further back have . The deck area was messy with leaves and sand and rarely cleaned . One day we notice they had simply tipped the cigarette ends from the ashtray onto the ground by using the sand hose to clean it . Disgusting! Why did we bother with an ashtray! The sun beds were old and dingy and our particular villa was not positioned well for those. The front and deck of 5105 needs redone. Pool was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has works being carried out until October . We were told it would make place between 9-5pm, but they were still making a lot of noise at 7pm. Luckily this didn’t get noticed in our room because it was quite far from it but the non Villa rooms will here it very clearly! For the price, this was nice. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. No Nutella is a bad sign.

Wir hatten eine Gartenvilla gebucht, mit Ausblick aufs Meer😁das Zimmer wurde täglich geputzt und oft liebevoll dekoriert, besonders zu meinen Geburtstag!! Das Personal war stets freundlich. Am Frühstück fehlte es wirklich an nichts, war alles vorhanden, von frischen Obst und Thaifood, frisch zubereitete Omelette usw. Die Baustelle hat uns nicht weiter gestört. Das einzige was uns am Zimmer nicht so gefallen hat, die Betten waren etwas hart😐und man lebte quasi aus dem Koffer, leider nicht viel Abstellfläche, kein Regal !! Ansonsten war es ein klasse Aufenthalt und super freundliches Personal. Vielen Dank nochmal für die liebevolle Begrüßung beim Check in und an euer tolles Team.

Wij vonden het jammer dat we niet van te voren op de hoogte waren gesteld dat het grootste gedeelte verbouwd werd. Hier heb je als gast zeker last van. Als je bij het strand/zwembad ligt hoor je de hele dag bouw geluiden. De kamer was klammig waardoor alle kleding ook klammig is geworden. Twee restaurants waren dicht. De kamer die wij hadden was qua grote wel erg prettig. Wel zijn we een dag eerder vertrokken vanwege bovenstaande redenen.
