“This vintage trailer was just perfect! Lovely setting and the patio area was a wonderful place to just sit and enjoy the scenery. Usually, a concern about trailers is the bathroom situation, but this one had a well-equipped bath house adjacent to the trailer. Felt like being in a spa. The owner and manager were so friendly and responsive to our questions. We definitely plan to stay here again.”

“We had 5 adults and children under 5 at this weekend stay. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us. Having children that young comes with some tears and despite being in the same house we didn’t hear it in other parts of the house. Also I was worried about parking because I didn’t see an area to park in the pictures but there was plenty of street parking. “House was great for our family gathering. The layout of the house and back yard are perfect for hanging out with the family. The beds in the bedrooms are really comfortable. The owner and manager were very responsive and accommodating. We missed that the two queens in the office were blow up beds and open to family room, but it worked out ok. “Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This Bird Rock location is perfect - great shopping and food in La Jolla and just a few blocks to Pacific Beach! Close freeway access makes everything in the San Diego area easily accessible. The cozy studio felt spacious, thanks to its vaulted ceilings and skylights. Parking on the street was close and easy. Highly recommend! ”

“Our family stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time. This is a very family friendly neighborhood and house. The house was clean and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The host, Ben, is very responsive and replied promptly to my questions. Thank you Ben for a great stay.”

“Our beoup of 8, 2 families, had an amazing time. Super short walk to the beach and right in the middle of all the PB fun. Excellent restaurants just a block away. We paid extra for the garage access and it was definitely worth it for peace of mind (and bike storage!) though there was often an open spot on the street nearby. We will definitely try to book again for a future trip.”

"The experience was terrible, with tons of random extra fees, including a mandatory destination fee of $30 per day. ( A nightly resort fee of $33.84 has already been charged. ) During check-out, I was just a bit confused and asked the front desk why this fee was charged since it wasn’t mentioned during check-in or listed on the Expedia invoice. The African-American woman at the front desk was incredibly impatient and had a terrible attitude, making me feel like she was ready to hit me if someone hadn’t stopped her. If you have such a bad temper, why are you working in customer service? Why not just go somewhere you can act like a boss? Her communication skills were awful; she couldn’t explain properly and just kept repeating one sentence: “I’m just an employee, I don’t know.” If you don’t know, then find out—that’s your job! Another customer checking out managed to explain it to me more clearly than she did. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room only provided two bottles of water per day, and asking for even one extra bottle incurred a charge. The front desk staff just directed me to buy the $8 bottled water in the room. There were no slippers provided either. It’s clear this hotel is promoted heavily on Expedia through paid ads. Absolute garbage hotel."
