"Great property for an easy stay near the airport -- minutes walk to the T2 tram stop and just one stop to the airport. It is modern and well-kept for a comfortable stay. The only letdown was the wifi was poor or could not be connected but it was a quick overnight stay to catch a morning flight, so I just left earlier to the airport to use the wifi there."

"Il Malaspina was a very pleasant surprise. Nice and central, breakfast included, very comfy room. Generally very pleased. The staff were all lovely. The chap who checked us in was extremely helpful, and each day the team were chatty and helpful."

"We had a great a stay at Villa Royal. My husband and I stayed in one of the detached rooms located near the pool. It was clean and cozy. As soon as we checked in, the staff at the reception were very helpful and gave us great information for our stay. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had with a great variety of food. One minor thing to note is that the shower was a bit small. The specific shower that we used should probably be resealed as the sealant appeared quite old and some water would leak out of the shower and on to the floor."

"So the rooms were fine, I liked the shower, they upgraded us, but that took away the tub (hense the shower). There were people outside our window doing drugs across the street and they stuck us next to the metro line so it was very noisy. I booked this hotel so I could do the cold plunge (I have RA) but there was not one.. or so I thought. I later discovered they turned it to the massage room... the massage was priced ok but it was not great massage. It was very weak and almost awkward. They do not offer free water to their guests. You have to buy little waters for 2.5 euro. So go to the store around the corner and spend 3 for a big one. Also they do charge taxes at the hotel. We didnt eat breakfast there cause I felt it was overpriced so we just got food in the square. Really close to the main train station which was very convenient. Also I went in winter and it was very hot in the hotel. It was over priced in my opinion, and wouldn't stay there again but it was fine for my first time in florence."
