over priced

Pros: location and restaurant/bar
Cons: price commensurate with the area
Location: golf
I did not stay in the Inn property but rather in the sister Lodge/Villa property. An unpleasant odor in my villa. room was spacious and room air conditioner, though noisy, it did cool to facility.

Not quite what I was expecting.

The room is pretty average. The picures on the actual (not expedia) are more accurate than expedia's site. The room was supposed to be a king suite with a private balcony, fireplace, and seperate Jacuzzi tub. I got a town house style setting: 3 levels, upper level two rooms, main level shared kitchen, living room and dining room. Lower lever (where we stayed) common living/dining room with fireplace and two rooms not very large with two queen beds and patio doors out to our shared patio. So our "private" balcony was actually shared space with 5 other rooms with four potential people in each room! Our bathroom had a smallish whirlpool tub/ shower with the worst showerhead I've ever had to shower under. At $350 a night you would think they could fix that. When I checked in management had no idea of the room layout and could not answer any of my questions. Also the inns are located in a residential area on a huge golf course. The pools are by special pass only which you get from management. The resort pool, spa, room service and pretty much anything else you would need while staying at a resort is located 2 miles away. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. If you like golf is a nice place the course was literally outside the patio doors or if you have a large group and all want to rent a giant house it would make a great vacation but for a more typical hotel stay, stay at the main resort Geneva National. It was booked or I would have stayed there instead.

Misleading online description

We read about the Inns online, and from that description we believed that there was a kitchenette and a fireplace. Well there are, but they are public. Hanging out by the fire or in the kitchen would be like hanging out in a hotel lobby. Additionally, we could hear EVERYTHING going on in our neighbor's rooms. The Inns are nowhere near the spa. The only way I would suggest staying at the Inns would be if you have a large enough group to fill one of the houses. That would be really fun.

The new "inns" that we were supposed to be in were supposedly full so we were put in an "upgrade" condo on the resort grounds. It was very old, the furniture had to be from the eighties or early nineties and no internet. Even with two phone calls to the main office no one knew if that unit had internet. Very disappointing to say the least. We left a day early.
