We will definitely be back… one thing that we would love to see as an improvement is the comfort of the king size bed. The sunroom with an incredible view and access to the Big Lake makes the property absolutely five star in a remote setting…since this is on the eastern side of the KEWEENAW……

“Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. The hotel is in serious need of remodeling and updating. The room we reserved and paid for was not the room we received, which was frustrating, and the room we were given smelled strongly of smoke. Overall, the condition of the hotel did not match what we expected based on the price and description. The only real positive was the location—the hotel is right on the water, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, the waterfront location wasn’t……
