“Was no breakfast as advertised and sink was clogged. Original key didn’t work. Property is worn. Doesn’t look like they are keeping up with the property on the maintenance side. Great location, could be a nice property.”

“Had 2 night stay due to event at Rock Eagle with 4-H. Room not serviced after 1st night, found used/dirty towels behind bathroom door. Ran out of toilet tissue. I highly do not reccomend you stay here. And we had stayed here on previous occasions. Will not repeat this mistake. Young lady at desk not concerned about any of these problems.”

“The front desk service is enthusiastic, the facilities are perfect, clean and tidy.”

“Property was good. Stayed there for several years once a year. Not enough towels provided had to ask for more. Air conditioner was extremely loud and did not cool very well. ”

“The building itself is older and needs some touching up. However the room was very clean, with new bedding, a very comfortable couch, a brran new tv with over 200 channels. For the price, you can not beat this hotel.”

“Southern Cross Ranch was a wonderful facility. Our room was clean. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious and the views from the breakfast room was spectacular! All staff were very warm, friendly and helpful, especially the owner, Inga; Karen in the office; Kimberly in the restaurant as was all the other staff employees. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely return! ”

“Old, old, OLD and smells like cigarettes. No public restroom at check-in so if you're checking in, take a leak in the parking lot before you go in.”

“Did not check. Lobby smelled of weed. No one knew how to check us in. Everything was in disrepair. Not staying there ever. ”

“Highly overpriced for an outdated property for a concert weekend. The mattress was hard as a rock. Room curtains did not close fully and light shone into the room all night making it difficult to sleep. Thankfully the room was clean although very dated.”

“The air conditioner did work at a minimum. There's no water in the pool I doubt there's any water in there for years. This place was obviously used by people that live there by the week. I wouldn't send anybody there”
