The property was modern and family friendly. We lived the fireplaces and s’mores. Only thing was our shower gel was never filled and our coffee was never refilled. Other than the refills, we would stay again.

This was very expensive for the amenities. Our “suite” was very basic and had no seating area except for a dining table with uncomfortable chairs. The balcony was narrow and had one chair. We did not receive any VIP service at check in (eg free cocktail) and we often had no parking spots available near our room. Also, the fitness room was closed while we were there so our son couldn’t use. We often had to ask for a room refresh ourselves. Overall, location was good but hotel lacked a lot of service and amenities for the price.

We absolutely loved our stay and hope to stay here every time we visit south lake. The place gives lodge-y, communal vibes, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with quality service. It felt like we were cabining in the mountains with friends. We especially loved how the front desk was multipurpose and served as a cafe/coffee shop/wine bar. Oh and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the complimentary s’more kits that seemed to bring the biggest smiles to guests of all ages.

We had a great stay at The Coachman for the 4th of July weekend. Our stay included passes to the Lakeside Beach each day of our stay. Great beach where we were able to watch the fireworks on the 4th. The staff was great, food and atmosphere were awesome!

Very fun vibe. Clean rooms and nice pool and lobby. The in room coffee didn’t get stocked each day and they ran out. Also the construction was a little crazy and so was parking. Would stay there again.

We loved the location of this property. There was a private beach within walking distance where we could enjoy the lake. The staff was very nice and the smores every night were a nice treat. There was a lot of construction going on and you could tell they were doing a lot of upgrades to the property. It was difficult to find parking close to our room due to construction blocking some of the spaces in the ADA section.

The property felt like a motel that got a new paint job. The rooms were tiny and the bed was not comfortable. It did not feel clean. The only nice area was by the reception check in area with the fire place but it’s not worth it.
