“This was our favorite stay in NZ! We were in the Tekapo room with direct views of the gorgeous turquoise lake, mountains, and Church of the Good Shepherd. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine at nigh, sitting on our private patio overlooking the lake. The room is fabulously appointed - very eclectic! It literally took 2 minutes to walk to the city center then down to the lake. We had a toaster, microwave and fridge - all we needed to enjoy a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. Really……

“Clean and easy check-in. When we got there the fridge had been turned off and had an odor to it, also no milk for tea. You can hear and smell the cooking from the many adjacent neighbours. Cant open window due to no screen and missing simple things like hooks to hang things in the bathroom and no hand towel rack either. Too over priced for a room with no cooking (just a microwave wold have been good).”

“Very clean. There is a tiny view of the lake and you are one house off the main road so it’s noisy on the deck. The mountains are pretty but, Looks much more like there is a big view than there is. ”

“Place is clean and nice. Has a good location - close to the grocery store, observatory and short drive to the church. However, unit is not as described and pictures not fully show how it really looks. First, it’s not private, well it’s hotel room with kitchenette and bathroom but there are more units in this building and hall. It’s not private because it’s entrance door are partially glass door. View from this particular room is on the parking and trash bins. It’s also on the ground level so……
