“After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced. ”

“This room is tiny. The large window/sliding door lets in all the heat and there is no A/C to cool it off, just and under-powered fan to blow the hot air around. You can’t leave the door or wi Dow open as the insects flock in. The ensuite is fine but the shower is tight. The walls are thin so unfortunately you hear all the movement from next door. ”

“The only thing we had problem we encountered was no written instructions how to operate the 2 in 1 washer/dryer. We washed our clothes without problems. But, couldn’t figure out how to operate the “dryer” mode. We had to go look for a laundry mat to dry our clothes.”

“Super cute and well equipped house close to the centre. heated bathroom with heated tiles. Our favourite part was the beautiful views of the lake and snow capped mountains from the back patio, even spotted some bunnies.”

“Firstly the view was absolutely awesome. Huge kitchen,hot spa and good heating really helped us enjoy our time. Location was perfect, close to all Tekapo's shops, eateries and walks.Two minutes drive to Tekapo springs outdoor pools and tube ride. Overnight temperature was minus 4-6 Celsius and day was 4 degrees. So dress for cold in June/ July. But the apartment was warm as toast. Lit the fire for nice atmosphere. We have dozens of photos from the deck and out kitchen window, beautiful mountain……
