"This is the perfect place to stay in Long Beach. From check in to check out, everything was so comforting. The breakfast daily, cookies at 3pm, views of the beach, spacious (and clean) rooms, friendly staff....I absolutely loved my stay. It's only 1 hour from New Orleans so you can pop over to New Orleans for the day and come back to a peaceful and quiet hotel. "

"This is our 2nd visit to Hopkins House. It is so open, relaxing, cozy and well equipped....just a perfect getaway. Very short walk to the beach, wonderful for pets, and quiet location. Add Kerry as a hands on, very responsive manager and you have the best place ever! Thank you for another wonderful stay!"

"To be honest room wasn't spotless but it was very very clean and nothing that would cause a negative rating. This was just a 1 night getaway for valentine's , wife doesn't like the crowds so we do things early."

We were able to walk to the beach, a craft market, restaurants and several charming little shops (including one right downstairs) and restaurants. The host was easy to contact.
