![On a short vacation to visit family my boyfriend and I drove through the dying light, sunburnt and tired, until we found a place to eat. Climbing out of the car we saw this view from the parking lot of Ukulele Brand's restaurant. 

We were able to sit outside on a dock that had fans blowing and keeping us cool despite the humid air. It seems, at least at this location (maybe state wide?) that you can smoke outside but with the fans it didn't bother me (I am allergic to cigarette smoke). There was a live (great!) band and while the service was a little slow, the food was great.

If you are looking to relax and not rush through a meal, this is definitely the place to go. "A group of us were coming into town to leave the following day for a cruise. This hotel worked out well. I do have to say that calling it "cruise port" is a little misleading. It took about 25 minutes (driving through downtown) to get to the cruise port. But, we did not mind really. The rooms were clean, the grounds were nice, overall a great no-frills option. I have to, unfortunately, point out that while the breakfast was great the lady keeping things stocked and then cleaning up was not. She was the only rude staff member, but she was extremely rude to everyone and even yelled at a member of my group who was trapped and trying to tiptoe around where she was mopping. Hotel...above average. That one member of the staff...very poor."

"The room was filled with what looked like furniture from a thrift store. All fixtures were rusted, baseboards, and trim were corroded and dirty. The bathroom door was warped. The room door rattled when the wind blew. I called the front desk to get a new room. No one picked up. The only positive is that the sheets smelled like chlorine so we figured the sheets were at least clean. It was definitely one of the worst hotels we ever stayed in. I’m disappointed in Expedia for even listing it."
