"Amazing anniversary stay for 3 nights. The hotel is really atmospheric and lovely. Huge interior spaces and very well looked after. Facilities are excellent and the staff are warm and friendly. "I am guessing this hotel is a conversion from a residential apartment building. The room we had was very generous size-wize. The neighborhood is quiet and near a large park with a unique modern museum. Nice place."

"Rooms are perfectly modern. The reception and restaurant are exactly as they were built in 1914, except that the food is better and there's free Internet. Expect that Hercule Poirot might be sitting at the next table."

"We stayed at Ensana Thermal Margaret Island for a night 4 family trip to Budapest with our 6 and 8 year old children. The hotel is situated on the north of Margaret Island, which is in the Northern area of Budapest. The Ensana Thermal is a lovely modern hotel, we were welcomed by a friendly reception team who took our bags and stored them for us until our room was ready. Our family room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed; separate room with sofa bed, desk and toilet for kids. Large bedroom with king size bed, large bathroom, lots of storage. Fridge/ mini bar, kettle, nespresso machine, toiletries, hair dryer, robes and slippers. The balcony was large too, with table & chairs and sunbeds. The only negative was that the balcony needed a good sweep, there was lots of dust and cigarette buts on there. The spa area to the hotel was great, it contains an outdoor pool with sunbathing terrace, indoor swimming pool, spa pool, thermal pool, sauna, steam room and aroma room. The children were welcome in the pools, but it’s worth nothing these are relaxing pools, so not for games and splashing etc. If that’s what they want, the Palatinus Strand outdoor pools are on Margaret Island and only a 10-15 min walk away. Breakfast was served buffet style, in a large and light restaurant with options to sit in or outside. The staff were attentive and helpful. There was a good selection of food to choose from to suit all tastes. "

"Right next to a big train station, 2 tram lines and multiple bus routes. Clean spacious hotel room. Good value for what you paid. It would be better if they coild provide a bottle of waterr everyday."

"The stay was great. Staff were very friendly and restaurant staff and managers in restaurant were VERY meticulous in their efficiency in the smooth running of all food stations. Also it was my husbands 60th birthday which we did not mention and they left a fabulous wee surprise in room."
