Interesting hotel with plenty of character and history. Don’t miss the 13th C chapel that’s just off the main dinning room. Friendly staff and great breakfast.

Like most Greene King properties it could do with some TLC however this just added to the character of the place. Beautiful old building, very helpful staff and beautiful surroundings

Lovely location and attractive main hotel building. Used the restaurant for brunch. Great menu choice and food was tasty and quickly served. My Mobile data had limited reception in the area and WiFi had a very weak signal in the hotel room. Supplied rooms with a desk fan during the heatwave. Good value stop over

Lovely surroundings and a fantastic historic building to stay in. Unfortunately, we happened to visit during the hottest week of the year in England, and the hotel does not have air conditioning. Other than that, everything was fine

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed although it felt a bit tired in places. All of the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast as well as an evening meal. There was plenty of parking available. We would happily stay here again.

Generalkly positive: I would stay again. Greene King don't exactly invest heavily in their pub hotels, but they can offer remarkable value - and arguably none of their properties have more potential than Rothley Court. imposing public areas in the grand manner and a parkland setting help to offset the quality of the rooms (I remember the bathroom from a generation ago).

The property is tired and rooms and bathrooms need updating. Beautiful old hotel with history! Staff extremely helpful with a smile. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the boiler was not working in the main building but the rooms with hot water were too hot in 30+ degree temps, uncomfortable to sleep in, so we were given both rooms, one where it was cool enough to sleep in and the other we can have hot water. Very accommodating! Thank you.

The rooms are dated. However they are very clean, very comfortable and very quiet. The staff were all great and the food good and reasonably priced. Great night’s sleep before a business day and I’d happily stay there as a leisure customer. The most beautiful grounds.

Check in was easy and plenty of free on site parking. Bar staff worked hard but you could clearly see they were understaffed. We eat twice, both times outside, the weather was glorious. Restaurant inside was stuffy with no fresh air, or windows open. Food was excellent , served reasonably quickly. Our room although very tired and in need of a new carpet was ok, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom again was in need of modernising but the shower was very good. Location was excellent just a short walk in the village. Overall good and we’d stay again if in the area.
Pleasant garden area, plenty of seating.
