"The resort was situated in a beautiful location that was flat that enabled me to travel within the property well due to my use of a motorized scooter as I'm disabled. There were always chairs available by the pool and/or beach. The size of the Royalton property was just right. I didn't like that the restaurants couldn't accommodate a reservation unless you were a Diamond Member which I wasn't informed about until I arrived at the resort. I was able to get around this issue making RSVP requests...

"I had a wonderful time at the resort. We stayed in July of 2024. When we first arrived it was hot and we were sweating. We were standing at the check in desk. A staff member came and handed us some ice cold punch stating we looked like we could use a cold drink. The resort is beautiful. The food is delicious. I ordered a steak well done and the cook actually knew how to cook a steak without burning it. The room was beautiful. Our balcony sat out right over the ocean and the sound of the waves...

"The honesty of staff, I left my safe unlocked and our housekeeper reported it to security. They came in and secured our valuables and assigned a new code. Which was then retrieved directly from security. The overall attentiveness of staff at front desk was also great for a speedy check in. "

"The hillside suite we rented was fantastic, but the crickets outside at night made it very difficult to sleep. We reported an issue with the A/C on the first day we were there, but it was not addressed during our stay. The A/C would run for a few minutes, then shut off, display two error codes, and recycle itself before coming back on another couple minutes later. This made the temperature in the suite uncomfortable in the upper-80s and high humidity conditions."

"The property is on a mountain side so to access rooms you have to climb hills and stairs. It would be nice to have that noted in the description. The island kept loosing power. When there was no power there was no water on the property. With these two issues it should be noted that these are things you may encounter when visiting the property "

"Taxi service must be requested for travel to any other part of the island and is not included. Breakfast is not included and is $30 per person. There is one restaurant on the resort (with bar) but we preferred to travel for breakfast into town (christen stead). Resort itself was nice, beautiful beach at walking distance. "

The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman's Reef

Fabulous resort!

"This resort is incredible! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the three pools are wonderful. Over all our stay was fabulous but the out door pool bar staff could have been more accommodating. On another occasion we asked for a lime wedge and were told they were all out when there was clearly a bucket of lemons and limes in the counter. Your activity staff were wonderful and energetic. Front desk staff were helpful and polite. The restaurants on site were great especially Sugarfin. I highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to returning. "
