“1950's exterior, fully modernized interior rooms. All clean, efficient and comfortable. Very quiet and isolated from freeway noise, but close to I-57 for easy access. Great value”

“This was our second stay at the Lucky Trout Resort. We just love the little cabins on the river. They are so cute, cozy, and very relaxing. The view of the river is great and it’s back in a woodsy area. It feels away from everything but it is still close to town, the lake, or anywhere else you want to go. The pool is clean and nice for swimming. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“The breakfast could be better, like small water bottles , boiled eggs, not already made omelets and potato’s, etc. the butter wasn’t by the toast or breads, but way on the other side of the room. Hard to find things.”

“After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no hand soap and there was an unknown spot on the hand towel. I went to the check in window which said “no refunds” and a woman came to……

“Thankful that I could book at the last minute for a group of 5. The check in experience was great. We arrived late (4am) and were able to get right in via an electronic door code. The beds were absolute heaven! Everyone in my group agreed. Best nights sleep I’ve had in months! I was pleasantly surprised to find enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc to last our entire stay. Usually rentals just give you one roll and you have to supply the rest. There were plenty of towels, blankets……
