"It is older the rooms don’t look clean but they are the staff is incredible air conditioning is on request everything is within 5min walk restaurants,grocery store,shopping. Stayed 4 months and will do it again"

Gabriela concierge went beyond our expectations and made my wife’s Birthday a success.Swim up bar employees are top notch. Texmex restaurant delicious (Luis Carlos and Randal) went above and beyond. Small resort compare to others but made it for a more welcoming vibes. You cannot walk anywhere since its a bit remote on a mountain. We did an excortion using hotel booking team. All day round trip and guide included. Ohh, forgot the Asian food restaurant is a big 10!!!"

"It is hard to express truly how exceptional this place is. What makes it so special is the incredible customer service that all staff on the ranch provided. The owner, Jorge, is a constant presence who continually went out of his way to ensure that my family of 4 with two children (ages 8 and 11) maximized our experience. We were able to chat with him several times. In those talks, we learned about Costa Rica in general as well as the more local region surrounding the ranch. He provided suggestions for places to eat while in Monteverde which turned out to be 10/10. Given the remote area, it is best to eat breakfast and lunch at the ranch. The food is prepared specifically for you. Jorge will message you asking what you would like from the menu and it is made with care from the wonderful staff that work there, who are locals from the surrounding small towns. One of them even took the time to make a large grass cricket as a souvenir. The ranch includes an extensive trail network for hiking or running which have numerous great lookouts overlooking the rolling hills of the area and volcanoes in the distant. Also there is a swimming pool with a very fun - and fast - water slide. The hot tub and numerous hammocks were also well utilized. Our family utilized the horseback riding that the ranch offers which was a fantastic experience. The horses are well looked after and are essentially free range across the vast ranch, sometimes walking up to your door. 10/10 location! "
