"We enjoyed our stay. It was very walkable and close to a lot of things including Broadway shows. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is it could use some updates. The couch is in rough shape and have multiple stains, the outlets were loose and the plugs kept falling out. "The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip as it was only a short walk to the Morgan Library and other attractions we were visiting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel is older and while it shows some wear & tear it’s not being neglected. We arrived on an early flight and the front desk let us drop our luggage off so we could hit the sites prior to checking in. There aren’t many “amenities” hence the low score for that category but the hotel served our needs for this trip and I wouldn’t mind staying there again."

"Location about ) miles from Times Square. Easy to get to by the subway. I would start my bike journey every morning from this neighborhood and explore the many areas of Manhattan many people may not see. Bike ride included a beautiful ride along the Hudson River. Staff was fantastic. The neighborhood was very lively and colorful. Room was very comfortable as a solo traveler. Nice restaurant connected to the hotel. Happy I took a chance on this location this time- normally stay in Times Square but thought I try something completely different."
