“PROS: The resort is absolutely beautiful. Winding sidewalks make it feel like you are actually walking through a jungle. They also do a great job of concealing the rooms to where it never feels like there are as many people there as there actually are. The pools are great, always cool and very clean. The rooms are spacious and all have there own private porches. The resorts beach is lovely. CONS: The rooms are definitely in need of updating. Water pressure was an issue for both of the rooms……

“Very close to Jan Thiel Beach. Walked there most mornings. Very close to the Van der tweel grocery store, also walked there. Lovely patio to hang out on. Easy to park on site.”

“The staff, Cindy and Hector, were excellent. The Villa on the Papapagay Resort was excelllent! I am not an AC person, so for us to have control of our own AC in our own 2 bedrooms was just wonderful. We had our own bathrooms too. The 80 degree weather with the continuous breeze from the huge wrap around porch (with the native birds visiting us) into the livingroom/kitchen added to our wonderful experience! There were only a few photos when I booked it, so I was pleasantly surprised. The……

“very comfortable and affordable stay right on the beach. Great location surrounded by beach bars, restaurants and shops all within short walks. The best part is the hotel gave guests free gifts (reusable water bottles, nice beach bag, and a set consisting of mosquito repellent and soothing remedy). This is so thoughtful!”

“My family and I had a rough arrival day but after I voiced my concerns, the staff was very attentive and very helpful in fixing the situation. Outside of that, the resort was nice, clean and the staff was very nice.”

“Make sure you rent a car when visiting Curacao. Adonai was reasonably priced, quiet, clean and the service was excellent. We didn't have any meals here so I can't comment on that. There are many eating places and a supermarket a short drive away. We just needed a comfortable home base to rest our heads while we explored all that Curacao has to offer. Would stay here again.”
