“The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. Also, the cues for the pool table were broken but we managed to partially fix one and had a few games with a beer or two - an added bonus! These are……

“Brilliant House, in a great location, and all ten of us had a wonderful holiday!However, as we booked for Christmas week, we paid a large premium, and didn’t expect to find stained sofas with rips in, and essentially a lot of wear and tear (this is not the place to list them, but think dirty blinds etc) that should not be in a property sold as “luxury”. “We spent two weeks in this lovely cottage. It was very peaceful and quiet. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially the homemade bread. Tim, the owner,, made us so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful large garden. on our return from a day out.On the last day our ferry had been cancelled and Tim was there to help us. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.”
