Staff very friendly, and managed to secure our room an hour early which was much appreciated. Room reasonably clean and breakfast was nice. Ideal location for events at the O2 - just one stop on the tube. Overall pretty good value for money. Just not a fan of the shower gel - didn’t smell great!!
Excellent hotel for exploring London, particularly for the O2 etc.
Large outside car park.
Easy to get to from the M25.
Clean
Good breakfast
Very helpful staff, especially on reception.
Tube and buses nearby and shops, places to eat.
Good accommodation clean tidy well maintained and a gift to have air con in room. Breakfast good and good location 5 mins from tube all in all great deal.
Lovely clean room on a very hot day so glad to have good air conditioning in the room. Plus excellent breakfast. About 5 mins /Close to Canning Town underground and DLR
Accessible and located in an area with great access to transport. Local shopping in the area and restaurants are great.
The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Sole reason for the 3-rating. Otherwise, it would have been a 4.
Really friendly and polite staff, both on reception and in the canteen when we were having breakfast. Room was clean too. Really enjoyed our buffet breakfast (who doesn’t love a hotel brekky?!), especially the freshly made pancakes from the pancake maker :) would return if we need to visit that side of London again. Thank you ☺️
The location is very convenient . There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and canning town tube station is five minutes walk from the hotel.
A grocery store is opposite of the hotel as well. It is a very safe area. Staff was nice and the breakfast was good. No issues with A/C.
Everything was great except there was a smell coming from the shower drain. The staff were very helpful with storing my luggage both before and after my stay.
The standard room is very basic. Scuff marks along skirting board. Peeling paint and dirty chair. Air conditioner did not work and toilet light flickering. Carpet didn’t look hoovered. Staff were okay especially kitchen staff - they were nice. Breakfast was okay - hash browns were nice.
We booked a triple room for 3 adults which included a double bed and a sofa bed.
However, the sofa bed was not made up when we checked in and there was no bedding for it left in the room. I informed the housekeeper who was doing her rounds on the floor at the time but she didn’t understand and asked me to go down to the reception. The lovely young lad at the reception advised that it should have been done and he would get it sorted so we left to head off to the o2 for a concert (fyi- very convenient for this, only one stop away on the tube) but it was still not ready when we got back 8 hours later. Once again, I went and told the reception staff, but this time another member of staff said that there was no housekeeping (I assumed he meant because it was already 11pm) and just gave me a black bag with the bedding and sheets to sort out myself. Not exactly what we wanted after a long day out but at least there was bedding available.
The complimentary breakfast was pretty good in the morning and the bathroom was nice and clean.
Overall, an ok stay, very reasonably priced as breakfast was included and very good location. Room size is decent for 2 people, but bit tight when sofa bed is pulled out for a 3rd person. Not much of an issue if you’re only there to sleep.
Really lovely receptionist on check in. Made to feel welcome and knowledge and travel advice about local area shared. Room clean and tidy. Nice breakfadt. About a 5 minute walk to the tube station.
