“A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !”

“My friend and I had a lovely 2 night stay. We loved the property, it had a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast, which was included, was lovely. A nice buffet and a menu for cooked options. The food was fresh and of good quality. One evening we also enjoyed their dinner. We have only to lesser points. In our room we found there was not much space for luggage, but it was ok for 2 nights. And we found the pillows uncomfortable. They might……

“The bar staff were extremely helpful and were able to create a variety of cocktails. Unfortunately, the restaurant had run out of Merlot and there was none in the entire building. The restaurant was empty for dinner but we were sat under the coldest ”
