“Over priced and under staffed. No staff visible either evening or morning. Breakfast croissant were stale. Bathroom light above sink had mains cable coming out of it just taped up. Tea and coffee in room but no milk.”

“The infrastructure needs a reasonable amount of TLC but it’s a lovely place, with great staff, good beer, fabulous folk music on a Friday evening and a decent size car park. We e stayed many times before when visiting the Centre for Alternative Technology and will stay at the Wynnstay again soon”

“The room was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. They also served us freshly cooked breakfast in the morning, which was lovely. The bathroom was large, clean and modern, but the room itself was very small for 2 people. On Sunday night, we planned to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. However, the hotel management decided to close the restaurant without any prior notification. The reception was also closed, which was very odd and we had to go back out into town to get some……
