"We had a lovely stay at Lakaz Chamarel. The hotel is ideally located to visit the nearby national park and sights (including a great rum distillery!) The staff were very friendly and helpful. "Decided to book L'Exil lodge for Valentines day. If your driving very low car, I would strongly recommend leaving the car in the car park, and take the shuttle directly to the hotel, as the road is very bad to get there. "The hotel is run by a lovely French couple. They were extremely nice, interacted with guests quite a bit and even got us a baby bath tube for our baby to be able to have a shower. "We stay in this hotel for 3 days. We have changed 3 cottage in 3 days. There was no porter service to carry luggage in the room. "Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. Hotellet hade inga egna solstolar på stranden, men träden på den allmänna stranden var perfekta parasoller.
