Historic Cottage Yellow Door in Midtown
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (112)
"Water was in the kitchen floor upon arrival from disposal or dishwasher leak possibly. Texted owner. They responded back that they were aware of the leak from previous occupants, apologized, and was told someone would be by to fix it following day. By the end of the week, nobody ever showed. Couldn’t use dishwasher or the kitchen sink. Made due with bathtub and bathroom sinks instead."

"Outstanding hotel in every way except not being fully made aware of the service charge being added to my bill until after it had gone through on my card. Bit disappointed as this was not made absolutely clear at time of check in. Can not fault anything else."

The Guest House at Graceland
4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (2601)
"Went on this trip with one of my sons. He’s 24 and we really loved that the Guest House offered so much about Elvis. There was a lot to do at Beale St and I highly recommend the Pink Palace (not much online about it) and the Pyramid was an awesome surprise. We went for Elvis and we both just couldn’t get enough and the Guest House doesn’t disappoint. We were slightly disappointed in staff but the atmosphere, history, theatre and food were extraordinary. The access to Graceland was also awesome....

"A fantastic location, straight out of turn-of-the-century Memphis. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place. BUT, if you want a comfortable, inexpensive, nostalgic spot in Midtown, you can't go wrong here. Close to everything, we had a fantastic visit. Memphis has come a long way since I first visited in the 90s."
