The hotel was under construction so it was a construction site soon as I stepped in to check in then also police officers was searching somebody for drugs in the lobby of the hotel my hotel room had a leak by the window which leak down to the electric socket that could have caused an electrical fire there was mold on the window ceiling the floor was cracked and coming up the TV was not working the bathroom wasn't up to par paint was chipped the whole room was just horrible

I arrive to the front of hotel and it looks like it’s closed, but, turns out their doing renovations. Hmmmm, ok. No restaurant, no bar, only a messy lobby. I walked in to no one at the front desk, nor a bell to let someone know I was waiting. Ten minutes passed until an unfriendly front desk girl arrived. Finally checked in when she asked if room 102 was ok. I had no clue why she would ask me so I asked “is there a reason why I wouldn’t want that room”? She laughed and said “no, just wanted to ask”. Ok room 102 it is. I was so happy to get some rest after my week long cruise and wanted to just watch a movie until my early flight in the morning. I go take a shower and I messed with trying to get some cold water, but, to no avail. I took a shower with steaming/boiling hot water. Horrible! Went to lay down and for 30 minutes I tried getting volume on the television and it wouldn’t come on. I went to the front desk and she mentioned the wires were cut and the entire hotel has no volume on the TV’s. Huh? I said it would’ve been nice if we were told. I waited u til she was done with her customers and mentioned about the shower which they also knew about. No cold water and would see if someone would stop by for repairs. No one ever came and the front desk girl mentioned I should “email” the manager in the morning. No manger until tomorrow. I checked out at 4am and the gentleman at front desk said he’d refund my $20 “resort fee” and manager will email me. HORRIBLE!

The hotel was run down. Walking in there were several water leaks from the ceiling in the lobby. Buckets everywhere to catch it and towels all over the floor. No amenities. Bar, restaurant,lobby, all “under construction”. No ice machine. Tv had a msg in it that there was no service and to contact service provider. Basically they haven’t paid the cable bill smh. Went to the front desk to complain and the receptionist says she ashamed to work there and recommends another hotel. I ask for manager and the asst manager refuses to come out of her office and speak to me directly only sending msgs via the receptionist. She says the asst manager gave permission to waive the resort fee for the 2 days I would be staying but when I check out only 1 fee was waived. Why would u charge a resort fee and this is no resort. It’s a health hazard to stay there and I will be calling the health dept today. They need to be shut down ASAP
