“I did not stay. I am 75 years old. There was no elevator and I would have had to carry my luggage up a flight of stairs and wind my way down a narrow hall to get to my room. I was not physically able to do that.”

“Breakfast wasn’t the best. Make sure you check if you’re getting a smoking room or non. I made the mistake and ended up in a smoking room ugh. No towels, had to go get them. The beds need an upgrade very uncomfortable. It was nice and quiet”

“Rooms were not ready on arrival despite arriving after the check in time. The toilet overflowed after going number 1. There was a mysterious disgusting gauze type item in the window. The halls were hot and humid.”

“This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!”
