“The most positive thoughts was how clean room was . The front desk lady seemed great on phone with questions before check in but seemed kind of irritated after check in. And the gentleman working got upset and was storming around pissed off cause I reported light by bed wasn't working . He tried to explain that's why extra lamp was in there but I have a hearing deficit and didn't understand him . So he stormed off slamming doors and then stormed out of building. And no cable tv,breakfast I new……

“Nice hotel and convenient location”

“The place was old and big and getting to and from the rooms was quite confusing. The pool was good. There was a huge empty space in the middle of the hotel which made the place feel unwelcoming. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable.”

“The place was clean and in good condition. My only complaint is the website advertised a hot tub, which is why I choose this location, but there was none. It had been filled in for sometime but nothing is updated to clarify that.”

“Unique place on a beautiful property. So peaceful with an amazing view of the lake. A bit confused at first about the seperate suites. We would definitely like to come back and spend more time exploring the area.”

“The rooms were dirty and smelled of cat urine. The sheets were dirty. The bath had black and pink mold on the walls, tub, and shower curtain. The property was falling apart and needed maintenance. The pool was falling apart with chunks of concrete scattered throughout the bottom. It also smelled of fish. The staff was hard to track down. The breakfast was stale and cold. We ended up leaving after only 3 nights of our week stay. Overall, a very unpleasant stay.”

“The price is reasonable. The staff was great, especially out the very cheerful young lady who was in charge of the breakfast. The food was good with good amount of choices. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable.”

“The two staff members I spoke to were both extraordinarily friendly and nice. That just really set this place apart among other nearby hotels that are similar, so I will go back. I've stayed several places in this town over the years, and this is my favorite so far. Parking is easy, and the location is walking distance of a street full of restaurants and a fabulous bakery, Radina's Bakehouse.”

“Motel was quiet & the beds were comfortable. My daughters loved the hot tub. Breakfast was hot & had plenty of variety to choose from. The room did have some issues that needed addressed. One of the electrical outlets didn't work & sparked if you tried to use it. Also, the tub looked like it had some black mold because the faucet was leaking possibly behind the wall and not just into the tub. Overall, our stay was great in our suite.”

“No housekeeping, no help from staff”

“Miss Aubrey checked us in. She was professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent . Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fried onions and peppers and that was the hot breakfast. An assortment of cold breakfast food was available as well. We met Miss Virginia the chef. She was a military cook for nine years. She loves cooking and adds much to the menu. We walked out with chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven. The whole……
