"Very clean and modern hotel. Didn't use the amenities but they were well maintained. Beds were comfortable."

"I would avoid this hotel, unless you absolutely have to stay there. It is off the exit, and then a convoluted, series of turns where it sits alone on a hill. Right away one can see it hasn't been maintained well, and the smell of air fresheners are quite strong. Everything in the room seemed worn down, misaligned, unmaintained. The walls and floors are thin, very cheap build. Bathroom amenities were two small bars of soap, the cheap kind. Breakfast was included, but terrible. One waffle machine, some breads, cereal, and a very sad coffee urn dispensing Folgers concentrate mixed with hot water. There was one overripe banana in a basket. Owners haven't put one cent into keeping this place nice."

"Sleeps ten comfortably. Property was great for our two dogs. Hot tub fit four comfortably. The host was very generous with our check in and out times. Plenty of board games and books available in the house. Pretty sure the couches were brand new this year. Even our mattresses were brand new.Kitchen is easily a four person kitchen. It was well stocked with utensils, dishware, pots and pans, though we did still bring our preferred essentials (knives, stock pot, spices, etc).Driveway allowed for our five vehicles, and could probably squeeze in more if we needed to. Two car garage as well.Easy access to the lake. Incredibly quiet place. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that asks."

"The hotel is old and dated . The paint is peeling in the bathroom. The noise from the floor above is soo loud. Just the people walking across the floor and it was creaking so bad I thought they were going to fall through. The auto closing doors were not set properly and slamming shut!"

"Our stay was great! We enjoyed sledding out in the snow during the day with all of the amazing views that the property has to offer, sitting by the fireplace at night, warming up in the hot tub, and playing in the rec room with the kids. The kitchen was great to cook in and very accommodating of our large family. We would definitely recommend a visit to Howe Caverns! "
