“Quiet and comfortable. Would be nice to have option to purchase a breakfast snack or fruit but not a big deal if you plan ahead. Pretty spot and short scenic drive to cooperstown.”

“My daughters and I had a very nice and comfortable two-night stay at KC’s Corner Motel. The room was very clean, with extremely comfortable beds, nice linens and the decor was new age industrial chic. We enjoyed the quick and easy check in process and the communication with the owners was excellent. The amenities of the room were great; wifi, tv, fridge, etc., and my daughters were delighted there was a hair dryer available. A nice side table with two chairs were a nice touch to the room……

“Everything was perfect except the clean is not perfect in the room, and there is a bad smell in the room.”

“The location can’t be beat! Lake front, two easy blocks walking to the baseball hall of fame and the main street. The rooms are clean, if dated. The restaurant has limited hours so plan accordingly!”

“Check in with Yevette was great with good communication . Easy drive to Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. Did find it was odd that they had a coffee pot but no coffee or cups. Also you were supposed to let shower run for two minutes to warm up. But after you got in the water got cold within 2 minutes.”

“Although the room was very clean and had a nice view, it was small and the floors were uneven. The shower was very small, such that a larger person would not fit in it. There was no hair dryer in the room and when I went downstairs to ask about one, I wasn't able to find someone to ask about it. Also, in my opinion, it would be nice if there was a snack/pop machine on the premises as the bar/ restaurant is only open from Thursday through Sunday and there are no other businesses nearby.”

“Overall, the hotel ground were well-kept and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful - one even gave us cake and wine glasses. The breakfast and the room it was served in were great and the location is easy to get to and central. A couple of issues which I brought to the attention of the front desk. The first was I thought I had reserved a room with two beds and a couch - the bed was double (I think) and a double pull-out couch. When I questioned the front desk, they said it was a common……

“Comfortable bed, quiet and safe location, wonderful continental breakfast and great antique shopping in walking distance. Staff were so nice! Loved our stay here!”

“The only places to stay around Glimmerglass are these small motels. This was a lovely surprise. The room was very clean and the owner is so nice. There is a nice backyard to this place that has a pavilion, a fireplace and games. Very family oriented.”
