I ended up not bringing my dog but he would have been fine there. The outside in winter other than the very nice deck, doesn't look that great with the yard etc, but inside was wonderful. I was worried about heat, it was very very warm and we ended up not using the wood stoves (two) because the propane heating in the living/kitchen area worked well (we kept it off most of the time). Crestone is small but cute and the restaurant, Food is Art was wonderful and people very friendly. Was disappointed that to get to Great Sand Dunes was over an hour away."
