Excellent location, spacious rooms, and a great room layout. Unfortunately, calling this a luxury property is a stretch. The bathtub was peeling, the walls were damaged, and the property generally showed its age. We also had to call for basic items like an ironing board and extra linens.
I’m sure some guests love the hotel’s “signature” scent, but it was incredibly overpowering our first night. It gave me a terrible headache, and there was no escaping it.
And while I realize daily amenity fees are becoming increasingly common, charging one for a property with a tiny, poorly maintained pool and a gym we won’t use feels particularly unjustified. Especially after paying $60+ fees each day for parking. It’s a surefire way to put the final nail in the we’ll-never-stay-here-again coffin.
Great location, but the condition of the property and the nickel-and-diming make it difficult to recommend.
