"We had a wonderful stay in Ischia with our family. There were 9 of us and the villa was perfect. It was a great location near the port, Fiorenzo was very helpful throughout our stay. The grounds of the property were amazing with awesome views in all directions. We enjoyed the sauna, pool and grill. A great time was had by all!"

"This house was a perfect home base from which to explore the island. Francesco was very helpful, even arranging for a taxi to take us from the port to the house. It’s an easy walk to Ischia Ponte (if you don’t mind a couple of hills!), which has great restaurants and shops, and of course, Castle Arogonese. Easy bus or taxi access to see the rest of Ischia. We loved our stay at il Lauro Villa and would definitely stay here again!"

"Wonderful, clean accommodations. Gorgeous setting on the edge of the sea! Responsive host. You definitely need a car. The driveway is not for the faint of heart however! Beautiful sunsets and cute cats. We went off season but were still able to enjoy the hot tub. "

Caesar Augustus, Relais & Chateaux Hotel

"Without a doubt one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay in. The property is a beautiful 19th century private summer palace converted into a beautiful hotel. The interiors are stylishly decorated and furnished. The rooms are spacious with incredible views. The service was impeccable, from the moment we arrived at the port there was a porter waiting to greet us and handle the transfer of our luggage to the hotel. The transfer from the port was in a BMW driven by Allesandro. We were greeted at the property by Angelo who was welcoming and ensured a smooth cheque in process. We spent an afternoon at the pool which has terrific views of the bay of Naples and some time trying out their cozy outdoor gym which is surrounded by plenty of trees and the hotel's garden where they grow fruit and vegetables. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of fresh fruit, delicious tomatoes grown on the property and a wide selection of delicious pastries and desserts.
